Cuisine from the heart and full of soul. Maca de Castro’s cuisine is like an ancestral still that oozes drop by drop her passion for Mallorca’s pantry.
Maca de Castro was born in Mallorca in 1981. She comes from a family connected to the world of gastronomy, therefore she developed her taste for local ingredients at a very early stage.
After training at the school of hospitality services, her search for excellence lead her on to travel the world collaborating with great chefs such as Hilario Arbelaitz, Juan Mari Arzak and Andoni Luis Aduriz in San Sebastian, Jean Coussau in Magescq and Willy Dufresne in New York.
Her cornerstone is her family, she relies on her team, Mallorca is her compromise and the Mediterranean is the scenery that deeply inspires her.
